It should be noted
that caravan layouts vary in there sleeping arrangements. The average 4
berth layout will comprise of one double with two singles, or two
doubles. A fifth or sixth bed will normally only accommodate a child of
approx. 50 kilos. it should also be noted that the number of berths has
no bearing on the size of the caravan. Should you have any specific
requirements we will be pleased to discus these with you.
Bottled Gas
For short hiring's, during reasonably warm weather, e.g. 1 week spring
or summer months, a 4.5kg (dumpy type) Butane cylinder should be
sufficient. For longer hiring's or colder weather, a 6kg or 13kg Propane
cylinder can be provided. All gas is supplied at the VAT rate of 5%. You
may of course supply your own gas cylinder and regulator. Bottled gas or
LPG is used to supply the cooker and fridge along with the heater and
water heater if fitted. Unfortunately this year we have had to charge
for Awnings.
Delivery Charges
Charges are £ 0.75 per mile yard to
site to yard. Charges however, do include the levelling and
setting up of the caravan and an instructional tour of the caravan by
Acorn staff. The erection of awnings however, will only be erected if
asked for in the above optional extras.
DVLA Regulations 2003
New DVLA
regulations from January 2003. In order that we can supply you with a
number plate you will need to bring with you either your Vehicle
Registration document, or Renewal Vehicle Taxation form as we cannot
supply one without. This is now put on a database for the DVLA to
inspect at our premises at any time.
Discounts
No booking will be reserved unless a deposit
cheque to the value of £ 150.00 is received with this reservation form
for UK bookings and £ 200.00 for hire outside the UK.
