SPECIFICATIONS ON EACH BAND OF CARAVAN

Band 1a  luxury touring caravans - 6 berth only 17ft 6" to 20ft 6" internal length

All specifications as below for band 1

Band 1  Luxury touring caravans - 4 or 5 berth 17ft to 17ft 6" internal length

These are modern four to five berth with double glazed windows with blinds and fly screens.

They are fully equipped with hob, grill and oven, fresh and waste water systems, washroom

with hot/cold water, shower and cassette toilet. 240/12volt/gas refrigerator.  Full central

heating for all year round caravanning.  The hot water system also works from both electric

or gas.  Sliding door to separate the other double bed bed on the five berth.  Included are

kettle, grill pan, mugs, cereal bowls, medium and large plates, cutlery, saucepans, frying pan

cooking utensils, tin opener, gas lighter, chopping board and colander.

Band 2 touring caravans  - retired from holiday fleet 4 - 6 berth

16ft 6" to 20ft 6" internal length

Modern two to five berth with double glazed windows.  Fully equipped with hob, grill and oven,

fresh and waste water systems, washroom with hot/cold water, shower cassette toilet.  

Heating from gas. 240/12volt/gas refrigerator.  Some of the caravans work on the hot water

system from gas only and some electric and gas.  Sliding door/curtain to separate the other

double bed and bunk on the 5 berth.  Included are kettle and grill pan.   Cutlery, saucepans

etc., is an optional extra.

Band 3 touring caravans - older basic caravans - 2 to 4 berth 14ft to 16ft internal lengt

These caravans are equipped with cold water supply only, hob, grill, some with ovens,

refrigerator 240/12volt/gas.  Fire, small washroom but no toilet - a porta-potti toilet can be

provided - subject to availability.  Two double beds usually, or one single, a bunk and a double

bed.  Included are kettle and grill pan.  The cutlery, saucepan etc. package optional extra.

Equipment supplied in addition to that specified above:

Fresh & Waste water containers, 240 volt Hook-up lead, fully charged battery, fully charged

toilet (where supplied - with additional fluid in the place specified with your caravan on the

inventory list.  Spare wheel with band 1 and band 1a, not always supplied with lower bands.

Corner steady handle, cleaning kit, gas spanner and instruction book.

Collection and Return

Normal summer hire periods commence from 1300 hrs on Saturday until the following 

Saturday between 8.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m.  Late returns are charged for £10 per hour

prior to arrangements between Acorn and the client.

Cleaning

It would be greatly appreciated if the caravan could be returned in as near the same condition

as it was collected as the next hirer could be waiting for the caravan.  A charge of £50 will be

made should the caravan toilet need emptying and cleaning.  Also a charge will be made if

the caravan needs extensive cleaning
